SUMMARY:ITID BOS Monthly Meeting
DESCRIPTION:ITID BOS Monthly Meeting \n  \nIndian Trail Improvement District is an independent special district\, which is a form of local government. It’s “special” in that is was created for a specific purpose: to maintain drainage\, roads and parks\, in ITID’s case. Its boundaries include about 17\,000 lots\, which more or less include the unincorporated community of The Acreage/Loxahatchee. \nBecause ITID is a local government entity\, it’s largely funded by tax dollars and the members of its board of supervisors are elected officials. In other words\, residents of The Acreage/Loxahatchee are ITID constituents and the supervisors work for and are accountable to our residents.
