SWA - New pickup dates as of 10/01/2026

Effective October 1st, 2026, SWA pickup dates may have changed for your area. Also, a contract was negotiated and was agreed to change the amount of bulk pickup from 6 cubic yards to 12 cubic yards. A link has been provided below where you can obtain your new pickup dates by entering your address. (not all areas within The Acreage/Lox may have changed, so be sure to check your address. Additional info is provided below.

Garbage Service Days : (Based on your address) 
  1. All garbage must be placed inside the SWA garbage cart provided by the contracted waste hauler. 
  2. Any garbage bags or other loose household debris placed outside of the cart will not be collected and must be placed inside the cart for collection on the following scheduled service day. 
  3. Place the garbage cart in front of your own home. Remember: The cart handles face your house, and the arrows on the lid face the street. 
  4. The cart should be within 6 feet of the roadway and at least 3 feet away from obstructions, such as additional SWA carts, recycling bins, mailboxes, fire hydrants, parked cars, yard waste piles, low-hanging tree limbs, etc.

Not all items are accepted for recycling. It is important to only place accepted items into the recycling bins.

Service area (X) has a vegetation limit of 12 cubic yards or less of yard waste curbside per week.

  1. Bulk waste is limited to three items per collection day.
  2. Place bulk items like appliances, furniture and large household items that do not fit in the SWA cart at the curb.
  3. Make sure nothing is stacked on top of water or gas meters, under low branches or utility wires or within 3 feet of mailboxes or fire hydrants.
